Sioe Salem Show 2024

When and Where

Bydd sioe Salem yn cael ei chynnal ar Dydd Sadwrn Aws am 3yp yn Neuadd Goffa Heolgaled.

Salem show will be held on Saturday 24th August 2024 at 3.00pm at Salem Village Hall.

How to enter

All items to be entered should be at Salem Hall by 12.00 noon ready for judging. Entry fee 25p per item. If you would like to sponsor a category, please contact Peter or Eryl on 01558 823075.

It would help the organisation if you could e-mail entries to p.harries835@btinternet.com by 6:00pm on Thursday 23rd.

CHOCOLATE CRUNCHIES

200g Digestive Biscuits                2 tablespoons

Golden Syrup                              100g Butter

1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder        50g Milk Chocolate

50g Dark Chocolate                     50g Raisins

 

Method

Grease an 18cm/7inch Square Tin Seal biscuits in a polythene bag and bash into uneven pieces with a rolling pin. Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan, stir in the cocoa powder and raisins. Add the broken biscuits and mix well. Spoon into tin and press down firmly, chill for approx. 1hr or until firm. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water. When melted spread chocolate over the biscuits and chill for 30 mins
